Word A Live Jail Ministry
 Since its inception in 1992 Word A Live Family Church has sent in Evangelists and Bible Teachers under the direction of our Jail Ministry Facilitator Maria Sanborn to the Nevada Count Jail (Wayne Brown Correctional Facility) to preach and teach the good news of the gospel. We believe that when we go into the jails and prisons, we are fulfilling what Jesus said in Mathew 25:35-40.
We have seen hundreds of souls in Nevada County Jail make Jesus Lord of their lives. Some of those who received prison sentences still write and receive discipleship in the mail.
Mark 16:19, 20 says that when Jesus was received up into heaven to sit on the right hand of God, the disciples preached the word and the word was confirmed with signs following. We have seen the preached Word being confirmed with signs and wonders in Wayne Brown Correctional Facility. There is currently a true revival of God going on in the jail and Bible studies are being packed out with people having to stand and sit on the floor. The Glory of God is falling and we see salvation almost every Monday night, along with the awesome presence of God there are physical healing's, baptism in the Holy Spirit, inmates openly forgiving each other, anointed praise and worship to God, and powerful testimonies of what Jesus is doing in their hearts and lives.
